Cancellation Policy

At Carrickmines Medical, we aim to provide timely access to care for all patients. Missed appointments can prevent other patients from being seen.

If You Need to Cancel

Please contact us as soon as possible if you cannot attend your appointment.

We request:

• 24 hours' notice for cancellations where possible

• Early notice for nurse appointments and other scheduled services

Cancellation and Non-Attendance Fee

A €30 fee may be incurred if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or if you fail to attend your appointment without notifying the practice.

Repeated Missed Appointments

• Patients who repeatedly miss appointments may:

• Be asked to prepay for future appointments

• Have restrictions placed on advance booking

• Be subject to review of ongoing registration arrangements where appropriate
